CRA Tracker

Regulations don’t just appear out of thin air, and they don’t always stick around either. The CRA Tracker identifies rules subject to the Congressional Review Act’s (CRA) lookback provision. The 119th Congress has the opportunity to roll back rules finalized in the last few months of the previous presidential administration. Specifically, rules submitted to the 118th Congress between August 16, 2024 and January 3, 2025 are treated as though the rules were submitted to the 119th Congress on January 31, 2025—and thus subject to congressional disapproval.

This page brings together data from multiple sources to show when a rule was published, when it was submitted to Congress for review, whether lawmakers introduced a disapproval resolution, and where things stand. By connecting the dots, the CRA Tracker makes it easier to see how regulations move through the system.
